Relay for Life

Relay for Life is an overnight event full of fun for a great cause - joining the American Cancer Society's fight against cancer. Our team the "Power of People United in Prayer" walk around the Woodstock Fair grounds throughout the night. The entire community comes together through Relay to step up the fight against cancer.

You are invited to join our church team. Each member walks part of the 24-hours of the event. Together we walk to support the survivors who must face their disease 24-hours a day.

This local event takes place every year starting 11 am at the Woodstock Fair ground.

Come see us at our table during coffee hour. We will be available up to the day of the event. Sign up sheets, Donation Envelopes and Survivor Information is available.

Luminaries

Honor or remember a loved one. For a donation of your choosing, candles are placed in bags bearing the names of people who have or have had cancer. When lit, hundreds of luminaries (candle lanterns) brighten the way for Relay teams throughout the night.

The lighting ceremony is at 9pm the night of the event.
