Emily Murphy began as Director of Christian Education in September 2008. Emily and her family began attending EWCC in September 2004, and became members in January 2005. Emily joined the Christian Education Committee in the Spring of 2005 and became its Chairperson the following year.

In addition to her work with Christian Education, Emily is a member of the Adult Choir, and volunteers to help with many church events. Her three children have attended Sunday School at EWCC since the family began attending services, and also participate in the youth music program, the Royal School of Church Music.

Emily, her husband, Dan, and their children have lived in Woodstock for 11 years.
