Debby Kirk became the Director of Youth Ministry for both the East Woodstock Congregational Church and the First Congregational Church of Woodstock in 2001. She serves these two sister churches as a 20 hour per week paid lay leader.

In her work she has developed Compassion Camp, a service and outreach program for middle school youth. She is coordinating the new Northeastern CT chapter of Giv2, a collaborative outreach program sponsored by the CT Conference. Debby was the Event Coordinator for New England Regional Youth Event at Boston University in 2010. She was selected to attend the "2010 Leaders in Koinonia" event in Cleveland as a representative of the CT Conference. She has served on Rev. Da Vita McCallister's ACM Youth Advisory Board and has just finished a term on the Board of Directors for the CT Conference of the UCC.

Debby has three grown children and lives in Woodstock Valley with her husband Bob.
