Every Sunday morning we gather at 10:00 a.m. to offer God our praise and thanksgiving and to listen for God’s voice in our lives today.
We celebrate that the God of history and tradition is still speaking to the people of the 21st century. We worship God when we listen to God’s word that is recorded in the Bible and when it is proclaimed by God’s people, from the pulpit and from the pews. Our worship service varies somewhat each week, but includes music, prayer, silence, the sharing of celebrations and concerns from the congregation, and a sermon. Our worship is enriched by our energetic music program which features our adult choir, children’s choir, Sunday School singers, and bell choir.
Everyone is welcome in our worship service; we embrace the saying of the United Church of Christ, that “no matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here”.
Children of all ages join their families to attend worship each Sunday. Following a children’s story, they are invited to attend Sunday school class in our vibrant Christian Education program, led by dynamic and enthusiastic volunteers.
The Sacrament of Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month. All are welcome, including children. This is a time when all of God’s people are invited to share in gifts of bread and cup. It is a time of remembering, reflection, thanksgiving; communion reminds us of God’s “amazing grace” and invites us to rejoice in the living and ever-present God.
Our spirit of welcome continues after worship, when all are invited to share a cup of coffee, refreshments, and fellowship. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet new friends, re-new old friendships, and cherish some precious moments of conversation and community.
Childcare is provided for children three and under.
Special Services, including Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Easter, Lessons and Carols, Christmas Eve, and occasional intergenerational services, are held throughout the year.
Jesus welcomed everyone.
So do we.
Come and visit us!
